# Fjalim

## Pricing

- Albanian transcription at a very low price: from €0.012 a minute, no subscription. You pay only for the seconds you use (billed per started second).
- Price per minute = model + chosen add-ons. Fast model: €0.012 a minute (available). Accurate model: €0.024 a minute (coming soon). Speaker labels add-on: +€0.002 a minute (coming soon).
- Free trial on the website: first 60 seconds of one file, no account (max 100 MB, 3 per IP per 24 hours).
- Signup grant: 15 free minutes after email verification.
- Prepaid credit: whole euros, €10 to €1,000 per top-up, valid 24 months.
- Real-time transcription is planned at €0.016 per minute; not available yet.

## API

Base URL: https://api.fjalim.com. JSON everywhere. Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer fj_live_...` (API key from the web app).
Errors: `{"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}`.

- POST /v1/uploads {filename, content_type, size_bytes} -> upload_url (PUT the file), then POST /v1/uploads/{id}/complete
- POST /v1/transcriptions {upload_id | audio_url, webhook_url?, metadata?} (Idempotency-Key header optional) -> 202
- GET /v1/transcriptions/{id} -> status: queued, processing, completed, failed, canceled
- GET /v1/transcriptions/{id}/transcript?format=json|txt|srt|vtt
- PUT /v1/transcriptions/{id}/transcript with If-Match: <version>
- DELETE /v1/transcriptions/{id}
- GET /v1/balance, GET /v1/usage

Webhooks: POST to webhook_url with header `Fjalim-Signature: t=<unix seconds>,v1=<hex HMAC-SHA256(secret, "t.body")>`; events transcription.completed and transcription.failed; retried up to 24 hours.

Limits: 2 GB per file, 4 hours per job, 60 requests per minute per account.
Retention: audio 90 days hot, 365 days total; transcripts 365 days; delete any time. Audio and transcripts are stored in the EU; website delivery, payments and email may involve processing outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. No training on customer audio without permission.
